"Undress"- Penny & Sparrow
Over the past 3 years, I have posted hundreds and hundreds of songs. Some new. Some old. Some of them painted in chords of sadness and defeat. Others bathed in deep breaths and slow, patient words.
But nothing has come close to describing my affection for these two. I’ve spent evenings on their back porch and mornings sharing cups of coffee. I’ve laughed until my face hurts and danced until I was sore. I’ve had more honest conversations and genuine words than I can count. Andy and Kyle remain the most important folks in my life- and today is a big day. Their sophomore album “Struggle Pretty” has officially hit iTunes!
If my music recommendations hold any stock in your book, check this one out. Dissect the words and pick apart the harmonies. Have it playing as the soundtrack for first dates and 10 year anniversaries. For hard conversations and roadtrip sunsets. For moving forward and letting go.
You’re in for quite a treat, friends.

What has been your most difficult image to capture?
Uhm, I wouldn’t know, really. My approach to photography is very instinctual — I love taking pictures of anything that moves me, that makes me think, that fascinates me. I’ve been lucky enough to never find myself in situations in which taking the picture I wanted would be too difficult. A few times, though, I’ve taken some pics with the snow up to my thighs, but I wouldn’t define them difficult — hard, maybe, or painful.
On the other hand, there are images in my mind I’d like to capture, but I still haven’t, either because I didn’t have the time or the climate was not right or I haven’t managed yet to reach a particular location. Maybe they will turn out to be difficult, maybe not; I don’t know yet.
I stopped telling myself that I’m lost.
I’m on a road with no destination, I’m just driving with hope that I’ll find a place that I like and I’ll stay there.
I’m not lost, I’m on my way.—Unknown (via h-o-r-n-g-r-y)

I want to live the mountains with someone in a log cabin styled house and by a lake in the middle of nowhere and with a lot of trees and have a wrangler and a big dog and we can all go hiking all the time and chill in nature and be adorable and shit.
